A Path Travelled – Abel Prasad

I walk down a road and I come to a junction and I didn’t know what way to go.

I turned left and went down a path I didn’t expect,

Hidden in the dark was a trap I didn’t see coming. I fell down and couldn’t get out of.

People laughed as they walked by and didn’t help.

Instead, they judged and didn’t offer help.

Perhaps I shouldn’t have taken that path but do I regret it?

NO because it made me the man I am now.

You can’t change the past and you can’t who you are.
